Arsenal playmaker Jack Wilshere hopes to play 700 matches for the Gunners after making a century of appearances.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed his elation at playing one hundred games for the north London side, and committed his long term future to the club.
The 21 year-old came through the youth team set up at London Colney and has long been seen as one of the finest young prospects in the country.
Some early world class performances for his club against FC Barcelona and more recently for England too against Brazil and Switzerland have led many to believe that both Arsenal and the Three Lions side should be built around Wilshere.
Having played ninety minutes on two occasions already this week, Wilshere completed his century of Gunners appearances from the bench against Fulham, helping the side to a 3-1 victory at Craven Cottage.
Afterwards, he took to social network Twitter to signal his happiness at reaching the 100 appearance milestone – and appeared to commit his long term future to the Emirates Stadium in the process.
Very proud to have played 100 games for the club I have grown to love! Dream come true! Thank you to all the fans for your continued love!

Wilshere had yesterday cast doubt on his future with Arsenal, suggesting that if Arsene Wenger were to leave the north London side, he could follow him, but the performances against Fenerbahce and Fulham may well encourage him for the future.
