Arsenal prepared to meet Newcastle United’s £8m valuation of Cheick Tiote
In a somewhat surprising development the Gunners are considering Tiote as the solution to their defensive midfield problems, according to CaughtOffside.
Manager Arsene Wenger has been on the lookout for a holding player for some time, with William Carvalho, Sami Khedira and Morgan Schneiderlin all having been on his radar.
However, with negotiationss for those three going nowhere the Frenchman has instead turned his attention to £8m rated Magpies ace Tiote.
