Gunners ready to swoop for contract rebel Rolando Aarons.
Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has turned down the offer of a contract extension at St. James’ Park as he doesn’t feel that the wage packet on offer is lucrative enough, report the Daily Star, with Arsenal set to pounce for the exciting teenager.

Aarons burst onto the scene at St. James’ Park at the start of the season, dazzling with his trickiness and raw pace, although Alan Pardew has taken Aarons out of the firing line somewhat in recent weeks – but the youngster and his advisers still believe that Aarons is worth a contract offer worth far more than the £6,000 per week deal he has been offered.
This could allow Arsenal to take advantage of the situation, with Newcastle perhaps being forced to cash in on Aarons if he does refuse to put pen to paper at St. James’ Park as his contract expires in 18 months.
