Wlacott came off the bench this weekend to make his first appearance in nine-months, having recovered from a serious knee injury, and is now likely to make his first start of the season in the Champions League encounter with Anderlecht on Tuesday.
And Arsene Wenger believes his influence on the club is that great that he will join the likes of Ozil (£130,000-per-week) and Sanchez (£140,000-per-week) as one of the club’s highest paid players.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger yesterday confirmed that talks are under way as Walcott’s current £90,000-a-week deal expires in summer 2016.
Walcott’s last deal, signed in early 2013, turned into somewhat of a saga, but manager Arsene Wenger is hoping that this one will be much easier to nail down.
