Fans have been increasingly frustrated by the Frenchman this season.
There has been a bubbling undercurrent of frustration at Arsenal this season as fans have become increasibly bemused by manager Arsene Wenger’s tactics and recruitment, so it came as no surprise when a banner calling for his head was displayed in the away end at yesterday’s 1-0 Premier League victory over West Bromwich Albion.

Wenger was not impressed when radio station talkSPORT took a line of questioning that mentioned the banner, however, with the Frenchman reacting furiously when pressed on the matter:
“I don’t comment on that. I need to say it again? I don’t comment on your question.”
With another huge game against high flying Southampton coming up in the week, it is easy to understand Wenger’s reluctance to focus on matters beyond his team’s performance at The Hawthorns, but it does show how resentment is starting to grow in the North London stands.
