The Gunners had to use teenager Hector Bellerin at right back in their thumping weekend victory over Newcastle United, whilst first choice full back Mathieu Debuchy had to fill in at centre back with Koscielny, Calum Chambers and Nacho Monreal all unavailable.
Asked about the possibility of signings after the match, Wenger seemed to hint that he will dip into the market:
“With Laurent Koscielny’s injury we’re a bit cautious and we need cover.”
