Gignac is the top scorer in the French league this season, his 11 goals firing Marseille to the top of the table ahead of last year’s champions PSG.
The 28-year-old’s form has recently seen him recalled to the French national side, despite a lengthy absence over the last few years.
The Marseille man spoke to Italian news about his desire to leave, claiming that he is now on the lookout for a new challenge.
“I think I’ll leave at the end of the season,” he said.
“I’d like to know if [coach Marcelo] Bielsa will stay. But I’m looking for a high-level challenge. I’ll examine all proposals carefully.”
