Arsenal offered Kaka transfer and retain interest in deals for three other Real Madrid stars with just two days of the transfer window remaining.
Arsenal are eyeing up four Real Madrid players this summer, according to the Daily Mirror, with Kaka the latest to be added to the list.
The Gunners had previously been linked with playmakers Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil, as well as striker Karim Benzema, but with only two days remaining of the transfer window time is running out for the north London club to reinforce.
Kaka has recently declared his intention to leave Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, having failed to impress either Jose Mourinho or new boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is attempting to build a new era of Galacticos with the Spanish club.
All three attacking midfielders appear surplus to requirements, particularly with Gareth Bale set to seal a world record transfer from Tottenham Hotspur in the next few days, but Ozil has already signalled his intention to stay in Madrid, and a deal for France international forward Benzema too could prove rather difficult.
Real Madrid have already sold Gonzalo Higuain up front, and whilst Alvaro Morata is a fine prospect and Cristiano Ronaldo is increasingly deployed centrally, selling Benzema would leave the runners up of last season’s La Liga somewhat short in the striker position.
