Arsenal have not exactly had a deluge of good news on the injury front this season – and that is a trend that is set to continue ahead of tomorrow’s crunch Premier League clash with Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium after manager Arsene Wenger appeared to rule forward Theo Walcott out of the match.

Walcott has recently returned to the first team picture after months out through injury and has impressed in substitute appearances – but it looks as though the England international will be made to wait for his full return to the starting line-up, heaping even more scrutiny on the fitness of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck.
