Gunners given green light to sign 20-year-old striker.
Arsenal have been told that they can sign highly-rated Palermo striker Paulo Dybala for £31m this January, according to the Metro.
The 20-year-old, who has been compared with Manchester City star Sergio Aguero, is high in demand after impressing in Serie A, and Arsenal now look the favourites to snap him up this winter.
The club’s president Maurizio Zamparini has been quoted as saying: “They have to pay €40million (£31million) to take Dybala away in January.”
Arsenal have also been linked with AS Roma striker Mattia Destro as they eye new additions upfront this season.
