Arsenal plan three massive transfer deals for summer 2013.
Arsenal were close to making one further signing on transfer deadline day, with Toulouse defensive midfielder Etienne Capoue and FC Barcelona striker David Villa the players most strongly rumoured to be on the verge of moving to Emirates Stadium before the clock struck eleven on Thursday evening.

Sunderland vs Arsenal tickets are on sale from £23 for this Saturday’s match at the Stadium of Light.
Whilst all the newspaper clamour was for David Villa to join the Gunners, and understandably so, given the attraction of having Spain’s record goalscorer in the Premier League, Etienne Capoue was perhaps the more realistic signing on deadline day.
After all, the Toulouse enforcer’s agent Mino Raiola told L’Equipe that his club rejected bids from both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the window – because neither would meet the Ligue 1 club’s asking price of €15m.
“At lot of English clubs wanted to hire him, most notably Arsenal, Tottenham and Fulham,” Raiola told French newspaper L’Equipe.
“We will see what happens in the future.
“I know Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran was not keen to sell during the winter window.
“The fee demanded was a barrier on each occasion, but we held some polite talks.”
It is believed that Arsenal will make a renewed bid in the summer for Capoue, who will be allowed to leave Toulouse when the club have time to recruit a replacement.
