Young England international maybe set for Britannia switch.
Exciting Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson could be on the verge of a shock loan move to Stoke City, reports the Metro.
There are still Premier League tickets left for QPR v Arsenal at Loftus Road on May 4
The 20-year-old has not featured for the North Londoners since December, when first-choice Bacary Sagna returned to the first team after injury, and manager Arsene Wenger may prefer him to get regular football rather than warm the substitutes’ bench for the remainder of this campaign.
However, with doubts currently existing as to whether France international Sagna will still be at the Emirates next season following recent interest in the player from both Inter Milan and the Middle East, Jenkinson’s potential move to the Britannia stadium would only be until the summer.
Stoke are not the only reported interested club in the defender, however, with fellow Premier League outfits West Ham United, Wigan athletic and Fulham all also said to be keen on signing the player on loan before the transfer window closes on Jan 31st.
Either way, it looks as though the one-time Charlton Athletic right back could be making a move away from Arsenal this month.
