Wenger desperate for striker signing.

Arsenal are considering a shock £55 million deadline day move for Colombian international striker Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco, report the Metro, as Arsene Wenger looks to secure a senior striker to replace the stricken Olivier Giroud.
Falcao has seemingly been offered to Arsenal, as well as other clubs including Manchester City, as Monaco look to sell their star asset as the Ligue 1 runners-up restructure their finances, and the Gunners are seriously considering making a move.
It would be a huge buy by Wenger and smash the club’s transfer record, but the former Atletico Madrid man is a proven goalscorer, as he proved against the Gunners in pre-season at the Emirates Cup, and would be a signing sure to create a real buzz around the club.
