Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated to French television that he remains a huge fan of Liverpool forward Luis Suarez, and hinted that the Gunners could again attempt to sign the Uruguayan striker.
The north London outfit tried to sign Suarez last summer, but their offer of £40,000,001 was not enough to convince Liverpool to part with their star asset.
The 26 year-old has 17 goals and four assists from his 11 Premier League appearances this season, and such a record is enough to make Wenger again covet the English top flight’s highest scorer.
“We all dream about having players like that,” the Arsenal manager was quoted by the Sun as telling French television network Telefoot.
“I think that every defender in England hates playing against him.
“He has a strong, provocative personality. From the information I gathered on him it appears that on a day-to-day level he is really easy to work with.
“Also that he’s respectful, he loves training, he’s an angel. He turns into a demon when he’s on the pitch.”
Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table on 35 points from 16 matches, with Liverpool two points behind.
