Gunners boss ready to bring in cover for absent stars.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that he could be active in the transfer market this January if his squad continues to suffer so many injury problems.
Speaking at his Friday press conference, the Frenchman confirmed that the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny would miss this weekend’s game against Newcastle United, further adding to the long list of injured players at the Emirates Stadium this season.
Wenger then said that if he had a full squad to choose from there would be no need to spend, but his side’s recent record in that department suggests signings will surely be made.
