Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering reviving his move for anchorman Luiz Gustavo from Vfl Wolfsburg, report the Mirror, following the Gunners’ brittle display in their 2-2 draw at Everton on Saturday evening.
The report suggests that Wenger sent Arsenal representatives to watch Gustavo during Wolfsburg’s opening day 2-1 defeat at Bayern Munich, and he could now make his move with Mikel Arteta injured and considering the performance at Goodison Park.
The Gunners almost signed Gustavo last summer, but the Brazilian international chose the Bundesliga over the Emirates Stadium after Wenger refused to give him assurances about regular playing time at the Emirates Stadium after he left Bayern Munich.
