The Welshman believes that the Reds are strong candidates.
It’s been a great start to the season for both Arsenal and Liverpool, as the Gunners are top of the table whilst the Merseyside club are third.
After a promising beginning to the campaign Aaron Ramsey claims that the Reds are definitely title contenders this term.
“Brendan Rodgers has finally got them playing his style of football, all the players are now on board with him,” the 22-year-old told talkSPORT.
“He was very successful at Swansea and with the strike force they have in [Luis] Suarez and [Daniel] Sturridge they will be a threat to anybody.”
Between the two forwards that the Wales international has singled out for praise, they have netted 14 league goals this campaign and look lethal.
Ramsey’s side will have a tough task to keep Sturridge and Suarez – or ‘SAS’ as they’ve been named by the press – quiet.
Despite their strong start Arsene Wenger’s men have suffered a blip of late, with defeats to Chelsea in the League Cup and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League within their last three matches.
Also, after the tie at the Emirates Stadium at the weekend the club face Dortmund once again in Europe and then Manchester United at Old Trafford.
However, Ramsey insists that confidence is still high despite these poor results.
“We are still very confident after the bad results against Dortmund and Chelsea but in the league we’re still on a good run and playing some good stuff,” the midfielder continues.
“We have a run of tough games coming up but you can’t say this will determine where we’ll end up this season.”
