The £42m playmaker has now played under two of the most respected coaches of the generation…
Arsenal’s midfield supremo Mesut Ozil thinks the differences between his former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, and current Gunners manager Arsene Wenger are smaller than most would think, he told German website Dfb.
The German was highly-rated under current Chelsea boss Mourinho during his stint at Real Madrid, and the enigmatic Portuguese manager actually brought him to Spain from Werder Bremen after the 2010 World Cup.
Ozil though, doesn’t think Wenger and Mourinho are too dissimilar, despite their apparent opposing personalities.
“There are differences, but they are not serious. Arsene Wenger controls the load, which makes it just right,” he said.
The 24-year-old has started life at the Emirates brilliantly since his mega money move from La Liga in the summer, helping his new side to the top of the Premier League after seven games.
Ozil has assisted three goals already, and scored a pearler in the Champions League group tie against Napoli.
