Andy Murray will hope to continue his fine start to the 2013 Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships into the second week.
The British number one and world number two has had the perfect first half of the tournament, winning his first three matches in straight sets, and it is the manner of his victories which has caught the eye.
Murray is hitting imperiously, in particular with his forehand, and that stroke along with his ever reliable backhand, his first serve and reliability at the net make him a worthy contender for the overall crown.
Mikhail Youzhny stands in his way of the quarter finals, and despite Murray’s 2-0 advantage in the head to head, the Russian is a fine grass court player, and reached the final of Halle, one of the warm up tournaments before Wimbledon, where he lost to Roger Federer.
Murray will be tested by Youzhny, but he is playing well and ought to come out on top.
