The Swedish youngster has caught the attention of a number of clubs after an impressive season last year in Holland with Feyenoord.
fanatix tickets – Barclays Premier League tickets are still available for this weekend’s games.
Manchester City vs Liverpool tickets are on sale from £29 for this Sunday’s match at the Etihad Stadium.
Feyenoord manager Ronald Koeman even went as far as to suggest Guidetti could go on to be as good as former Ajax striker and fellow Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic after he netted twenty goals in twenty-three appearances.
That has prompted Swans manager Michael Laudrup, a former team-mate of Koeman’s, to try and bring the player to the Liberty Stadium on loan.
But Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has poured cold water on the move.
Mancini is concerned about the depth of his attacking options following the departure of Mario Balotelli to AC Milan.
That has left City with just three first-team strikers, Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko, leaving Mancini unwilling to risk a potential striker shortage should any of them suffer an injury.
However there is still time for Man City to sign a striker as a replacement for Balotelli, and it remains to be seen whether Mancini’s stance might change should they manage to sign reinforcements before the window slams shut.
Swansea are desperate for attacking reinforcements after allowing striker Danny Graham to move to Sunderland.
