Gorringe Port Adelaide: Gold Coast ruckman angling for move back to his home state
Port Adelaide have confirmed its interest in Gold Coast ruckman Daniel Gorringe, who has asked the club for a trade back to his home state of South Australia.
Gorringe has struggled to crack into the Suns 22 and has played just 20 games since being drafted at pick no.10 in the 2010 National Draft.
Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps told AFL.com.au the the Power would work with the Suns to ensure a fair trade.
“We welcome the news that Daniel Gorringe has nominated Port Adelaide as his nominated club but the bottom line is he is contracted to the Gold Coast Suns,” Cripps said.
“We are respectful of that and therefore are committed to ensuring a fair trade can be reached that benefits all parties.”
