Carlton ruckman Matthew Kruezer has reportedly attracted the interest in a number of rival AFL clubs.
The 25-year-old has had an injury-riddled AFL career, but he has shown glimpses of the talent that made him the no.1 selection in the 2007 National Draft.
AFL journalist Brett Anderson told SEN Radio on Wednesday morning that Collingwood were lining up as potential suitors for the big ruckman’s services.
“There’s been a bit of a whisper going around the last few days that there’s been some clubs interested in Kreuzer,” Anderson said.
“Collingwood being one who have at least enquired about Kreuzer’s availability.”
Kruezer’s contract will expire at the end of the 2015 season, and Carlton may be looking for trades or draft picks in return rather than letting him go to free agency.
