The Dutch youngster is on a season-loan deal at the San Siro as he looks to gab the attention of Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
A knee injury ruined the Dutchman’s chances of impressing Jose Mourinho last term, and stopped him living up to his £8million price tag.
He was farmed out to Serie A over the summer, but reports yesterday suggested Chelsea may terminate his loan deal with Milan after a lack of match action for the 21-year-old.
However, Galliani seemingly doesn’t want to see that happen.
“I am very happy with the performance of Van Ginkel, especially in front of the defence,” Galliani told Mediaset.
“He has given us great quality, he is a great player.”
