Gattuso to link up with Gunners on temporary basis.
Former AC Milan star Ivan Gattuso is to undergo a coaching internship at some of Europe’s top clubs, including Arsenal.
The World Cup winner has been swiftly dismissed from managerial positions at Swiss club FC Sion and Palermo in recent seasons and will link up with the Gunners at their London Colney base, in a bid to pick up tips from Arsenal’s backroom staff.
Speaking to French magazine So Foot, Gattuso, 35, revealed: “I’m going on a mini-internship at Real Madrid, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund and I’ll also be meeting [Belgium international coach] Marc Wilmots.”
Gattuso is married to a Brit and speaks English after spending a season at Rangers in 1997/8, before making 335 appearances for the Rossoneri.
