Brazilian midfielder to return to the San Siro.
AC Milan are in negotiations with Real Madrid over a move to re-sign Brazilian midfielder Kaka, according to Italian sources.
Rossoneri president Silvio Berlusconi is understood to be in the Spanish capital for direct talks with his Real counterpart Florentino Perez.
It is likely that Kaka will return to the San Siro on a two-year loan deal.
The 30-year-old has endured a hugely frustrating season for Los Blancos, starting just one La Liga match in which he was sent off after just 18 minutes.
The talented playmaker, who won the Ballon d’Or in 2007, spent six successful seasons with Milan before joining Real Madrid for £50m in 2009.
The Selecao international has never properly settled at the Santiago Bernebue and has become increasingly marginalised under current boss Jose Mourinho.
Arsenal, Manchester and Chelsea have been linked with the former Sao Paulo player but Kaka is understood to favour a return to Milan.
