Rossoneri look to Brazilian for inspiration.
AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri could hand Kaka a place in the starting line-up against Barcelona at San Siro on Tuesday night.
The 31-year-old has been limited to just 88 minutes since his return to Italy this summer, after suffering an injury in his second debut against Torino last month.
While he refused to take a wage during his period on the sidelines, he returned to action on the weekend as a second-half substitute in the 1-0 win over Udinese.
However, it appears that he is set to be restored to the starting line-up against the Spanish giants as the Rossoneri look to close the gap between themselves and their rivals who currently top the group with two wins in two games.
According to various media outlets in Italy, the Brazilian will lead an attacking trident in a 4-3-3, with Valter Birsa and Robinho completing the trio as reported by Football Italia.
Mario Balotelli is likely to make the bench after recovering from a muscle injury he suffered last week, while Alessandro Matri will join him there after a disappointing start to life back at the club.
The Italian striker has been unable to find the net so far, and with Milan looking to strike on the counter-attack, Allegri knows it will be vital that they take any chances that may come their way against the Catalans.
Nevertheless, Kaka will be expected to lead the line while the visitors will have Alexis Sanchez, Neymar and Lionel Messi lead their attacking line after the Argentinian recovered in time from his own injury problems.
