David de Gea (Manchester United to Real Madrid)
The farcical end to the transfer saga of the summer has left both clubs Real Madrid and Manchester United embarrassed and goalkeepers David de Gea and Keylor Navas in limbo over their futures.
De Gea will probably be integrated back into the United team, having been omitted from their first six games of the season, but is not any more likely to sign an extension to his Old Trafford contract. If the Red Devils don’t want to lose him for free next summer, they may negotiate a January deal with Madrid.
