Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Barcelona star Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is allegedly unsettled at the Nou Camp…
Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is not happy at being second choice behind Claudio Bravo at the Nou Camp, and Liverpool are ready to pounce, according to Caught Offside.
Brendan Rodgers is looking to replace current Anfield No.1 Simon Mignolet, with the Belgian performing poorly for large parts of this season.
Barcelona are unlikely to let ter Stegen go cheaply however, especially as the German star only joined the club this past summer.
He also seems determined to fight for his place with the La Liga giants, despite his frustration at the situation.
“It’s good to be at Barca but the situation is difficult. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t care and it isn’t easy being a spectator,” he said.
“I want to be the No.1 and I’m convinced that’s something that will happen if I continue to improve and work hard.
“I can only try to prove that I am the best [of the two goalkeepers] and that’s why I came here, so it’s something I will fight for.”
