France international wants White Hart Lane move.Arsenal could be dealt the blow of missing out on one of their top transfer targets this summer with the news that he would rather join their rivals Tottenham Hotspur instead, according to the Daily Mail.
The Gunners have been linked with Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin as one of several possible options to come in in that position, with the likes of Real Madrid star Sami Khedira and Lars Bender of Bayer Leverkusen also being considered.
However, it seems that the 24-year-old Saints man is keen to work under his old manager Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane, and would favour a transfer to Spurs over Arsenal, despite the Champions League football on offer at the Emirates Stadium.
It remains to be seen if Tottenham will move for the French international, though Pochettino could be tempted to make a raid on his former employers, whom he left for a move to north London at the end of May.
The Argentine coach’s first signing for Spurs, however, looks likely to be Swansea City left-back Ben Davies.
