The ex-Surrey batsman is enjoying taking on the side as batting coach with Middlesex.
Former Surrey batsman Mark Ramprakash says there are no mixed emotions as he faces the County Championship side with new club Middlesex.
Ramprakash spent 11 years at the Oval before retiring from cricket last season and taking up his new role as batting coach at Lord’s.
The Englishman scored a colossal 35,659 runs during a 25-year career in first-class cricket in his home country.
His two sides are currently playing each other in a four-day Division One match and the 43-year-old insists he has no other feeling than excitement as his two major clubs battle it out.
