The writer of the spectacular West End musical Wicked, Gregory Maguire, has set up two competitions to uncover more talented writers. The Wicked Young Writers Award 2010 asks entrants to write a 750 word story, poem or illustrated work on any subject before July 31st, and the prize for each age category consists of four tickets to see Wicked, an advice session with the judging panel on becoming a professional writer, as well as the honour of being published in an anthology of all the works. Twenty writers across different ages ranging from 5 to 16 will also be invited to an awards ceremony at the show's venue - the Apollo Victoria.
Wicked tickets are available on Tixdaq now from the fabulous price of just £15!
