Whitney Houston to receive special award

Whitney Houston will be honoured as part of the upcoming BET Honors show in America. The awards take place annually and are a celebration of the lifeworks and achievements of African Americans, whether they work in film, music, or even education. Houston will receive an entertainment award at the ceremony due to take place on January 16th at the Warner Theatre in Washington.

Whitney Houston will be touring the UK this Spring. She is set to perform at the MEN Arena on April 8 before dates at Glasgow SECC (April 11), Birmingham LG Arena (April 13) and the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (April 22). The Whitney Houston tour draws to a close with three shows at London O2 Arena (April 25, 26 & 28).
