Wayne Rooney tips Spurs for Champions League success

Wayne Rooney has singled out Tottenham, as well as favourites Barcelona, to perform well in the next round of the Champions League on the eve of the quarter-final draw.

Manchester United made their way into the quarter final draw last night after defeating Marseille 2-1 at Old Trafford to keep their treble bid alive.

According to the Evening Standard, Rooney said: "We're really happy to get through to the quarters, I thought it was good performance because Marseille are a good side with big, strong players.

"Now we've got to look and see who we get. Barcelona are the favourites and are playing some great football but I'm also enjoying watching Tottenham play at the minute."
