Variety is key, says Ireland's O'Driscoll
By James Barnes, on 25th February 2011, 11:43 UTC
Ireland captain Brian O'Driscoll has said Ireland need to play a smart attacking game if they want to beat Scotland in Sunday's Six Nations clash.
Although Ireland have played well, their high error count has been a serious problem. They laboured to a victory over Italy before losing to France despite scoring more tries.
O'Driscoll believes that Ireland have become too easy to stop and need to vary their tactics to keep defences guessing. The return of Ronan O'Gara suggests that Ireland will employ a more kicking game, which is something the side has lacked recently.
