Vampire Weekend announce ice rink gig

Vampire Weekend have announced that they are set to play a gig at the London Somerset House venue on Thursday Jan 14. The band, who released their second album 'Contra' on Monday, will play in front of the ice rink currently situated at the outdoor venue.

Contra has already racked up massive sales for the American indie band andtheywill be celebrating its release with an upcoming UK tour.

The Vampire Weekend tour begins at the De La Warr Pavilion on February 5 in Bexhill on Sea, before visits to Cambridge Corn Exchange, Manchester Apollo, the O2 Academy Birmingham and many more top venues across the UK. Vampire Weekend draw their tour to a close with two shows at the O2 Brixton Academy.
