U2 have been announced as the biggest earning music act in America in 2009. The Irish band beat artists such as Madonna and Bruce Springsteen to the title,pocketing themselves a cool $109 million.
The band's earnings were largely due due the success of their 360 Degree tour, as well as record sales and royalties.
Tickets are still available for U2's summer european tour, where theywill be entertainingvenues such as the Stadio Olimpico in Turin and the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt.
