Despite rumours circulating earlier today that DJ and producer Tiesto had been involved in a car crash in California, the dance music legend has confirmed on his Twitter account that he is alive and well.
It is still unknown whether the story is true, but the news has come as a relief to music fans across the world who had reason to believe that Tiesto was seriously injured. This morning's Twitter post read, "It's nice to read that people care about my life. Thank you for all the support. It's good to be alive and to get so much love from you xx."
In a seperate statement Tiesto said, "I don't know where these stories come from, but I'm very much alive and well and looking forward to the rest of my tour, including the second Victoria Park takeover in London."
Tiesto will perform at Victoria Park on the 30th July as part of one of the biggest dance events of the year. He will be joined by very special guests Pendulum, DJ royalty Eddie Halliwell headlining the Mixmag & Don't Stay In Arena, South Central and The Japanese Popstars.
Tiesto tickets are available from ticketing sites such as Seetickets, Ticketweb, Ticketline and Gigantic with prices starting at £39.
