The Wombats tickets on sale Friday for UK tour

The Wombats have announced a huge UK tour to take place in early 2011. The band responsible for hits such as Moving To New York and Kill The Director will perform in Belfast, Edinburgh, Dundee, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Norwich, Cardiff, Bristol and London in January 2011.

The Liverpool band are currently working on their second album, Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves) which is due to be released on November 29th here in the UK. The new material is said to provide a darker, more serious tone to their indie-pop style.

The Wombats tickets for their 2011 UK tour dates will become available this Friday, 3rd September.
