The Prodigy to collaborate with Dizzee Rascal

The Prodigy have confirmed that they are planning a collaboration with Dizzee Rascal.


Dizzee Rascal has already supported The Prodigy during their UK tour of the album Invaders Must Die in April 2009.


Dizzee Rascal recently expressed his wish to work with The Prodigy, describing their live shows as powerful and intense.


Speaking at last weekend's Download Festival,Liam Howlett and Keith Flint of The Prodigy revealed that the collaboration was on the way, and that it was just a matter of time before they headed to the studio together.


The Prodigy are set to perform at Global Gathering at Long Marston Airfield, Stratford Upon Avon which takes place from July 24-25, as well as theReading & Leeds Festival, taking placeat Leeds Bramham Park and Reading Richfield Avenue from August 28-30.

Dizzee Rascal will also be making some festival appearances this summer, such as at the Wireless Festival at London Hyde Park (July 4 & 5), T4 On The Beach at Weston Super Mare Beach (July 19), V Festival taking place at Chelmsford Hylands Park and Shifnal Weston Park (August 22-23), and Creamfields 2009 at the Halton Daresbury Estate (August 29-30).


Then, the Dizzee Rascal tour will kick off at the Newcastle O2 Academy (October 6) before stopping off at the Birmingham O2 Academy (October 17) and the Brighton Dome (October 27) then drawing the tour to a close at the Engine Shed, University of Lincoln Student Union (November 2).
