It has been announced that Skunk Anansie will be performing a Greatest Hits Tour with five shows across the UK in November this year.
The Greatest Hits Tour will be the first tour in eight years for Skunk Anansie and there are plans to release a 'Best Of' album later this year in line with the tour.
Skunk Anansie band member Skin has been talking about the upcoming Greatest Hits album, saying that the band have been asked various times to have one released but only now everyone wanted to and had the time to do it.
Skin also revealed that the upcoming Best Of album will contain some new material and remixes.
The last album released by Skunk Anansie was Post Orgasmic Chill in 1999 but their biggest selling album to date was Stoosh released in 1996.
Skunk Anansie will be playing at the O2 Academy Leeds (November 21), O2 Academy Glasgow (November 22), Manchester Academy (November 24), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (November 25) and the O2 Academy Brixton (November 26).
Skunk Anansie tickets to the Greatest Hits Tour will go on general sale on Friday May 22 at 9am.
