Six Nations update: Wales v Ireland

Ireland take on Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday in a match where a win is absolutely vital for both sides.

Wales and Ireland both have four points in this year's championship, which is two less than England. But with Ireland still to play England, anything could happen.

Both teams have struggled during this year's Six Nations. Ireland have been giving away far too many penalties and struggled to a win against Scotland in their last game. Before that they lost to France, despite scoring three tries to Les Bleus' one.

Wales are also yet to hit top form, but will be boosted by the return of centre Jonathan Davies. Having not played against Italy in Wales' last game because of a hamstring injury, Davies was kept in the squad as his centre pairing with James Roberts is seen as important to Welsh success. However, his return could force James Hook to the bench, as the argument over where to play the versatile Hook rages on.

Tickets for Wales v Ireland are available now. The match takes place at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on Saturday March 12th. Kick off is at 5pm.
