Six Nations update: Italy v France
By James Barnes, on 7th March 2011, 13:26 UTC
France will look to keep the pressure on England with a big win over Italy when they travel to Rome on March 12th.
France coach Marc Lievremont has decided to use the same squad of players that lost out to England in their last game. A run of eight straight wins in the Six Nations was brought to an end as Les Bleus were narrowly beaten by a Ben Foden inspired England. With England still to face Scotland and Ireland, France will hope for a slip up to give them some chance of winning back-to-back titles.
Italy are huge underdogs despite being at home. An impressive second half against Wales will give them some hope, but they need to produce something special to beat France. They will be desperate to take something from the match, although they may already be looking ahead to their final game against Scotland, a potential wooden spoon showdown.
Tickets for Italy v France are available now. The match takes place at the Stadio Flaminio, Rome, on March 12th. Kick off is at 2.30pm.
