Six Nations return for Welsh star Jones

Welsh fly-half Stephen Jones is in line to be recalled to the starting 15 when Wales take on Italy at the Stadio Flaminio on Saturday.

After being replaced by James Hook for the win against Scotland, Jones is in need of a big performance to convice Wales coach, Warren Gatland, that he still merits his place.

It seemed likely that Hook would take over as first choice fly-half for the foreseeable future, but an injury to Jonathan Davies, and a lack of alternatives, means that Hook will be moved to outside centre. This gives Jones, 33, the opportunity to respond to the pressure in what will be his 98th international cap.
