Six Nations: England v Scotland preview

Scotland will have their work cut out for them when they visit Twickenham in nine days time to take on an unbeaten England side.

Scotland will be desperate to get some points in the March 13th clash to avoid the wooden spoon, but England have been impressive in the championship so far and look likely to secure their first title in eight years.

England coach Martin Johnson, who was still playing last time England won the title in 2003, masterminded wins over Wales and Italy before an impressive 17-9 victory over France. Captain Mike Tindall, who played alongside Johnson 24 times, believes England can only improve as the boss settles into his role.

Andy Robinsons Scotland squad slipped to a second successive home defeat last weekend, losing 21-18 to Ireland. Despite some flashes of individual brilliance, Scotland have looked poor as a team and will most likely be involved in a wooden spoon showdown against Italy in their final match.
