Shawshank Redemption enjoying its stay at the Wyndham

The stage production of The Shawshank Redemption is proving to be a hit with theatregoers in London, however, a recent comment has forced the show's producers to defend the stageplay.
It has recently been reported that the Shawshank Redemption stageplay that is currently showing at the Wyndham Theatre had used a quote made about the film to promote the West End production. The play's producers have denied these accusations, but the comment is being investigated by the Westminster Trading Standards.
The Shawshank Redemption is currently showing at the Wyndham's Theatre in London and is proving to be a huge success despite claims from some critics that say the play does not live up to the original film.
The Shawshank Redemption film was released in 1994 and remains one of the most critically acclaimed films of its time. Morgan Freeman starred alongside Tim Robbins in the film which tells the story of two inmates planning their escape from prison.
