Russell Brand and Noel Gallagher to Co-host radio show


It has been reported that Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher and controversial comedian and former radio star Russell Brand are set to host a one off football radio show on talksport radio station.


Exact details of when both funny men will reignite the banter merchanary previously displayed on Russel Brand's old Radio 2 show are still unknown.


The announcement was leaked by Russell Brand himself via his increasing popular twitter updates in which he declared 'It's true, myself and Britain's favourite swearer are doing a radio special on football. Let's hope Noel doesn't get me in trouble/twouble.


'Me and Gallagher will turn Talksport into the fulcrum of the revolution. If we can just get Wossy to come on as a guest a new dawn will rise.'


Fans of both Noel Gallagher and Russell Brand will have the opportunity to see them live in concert and theatre respectively in the coming months.


Noel gallagher will be touring with Oasisacross the UK this summer. The Oasis tour kicks off with three shows at Heaton Park in Manchester (June 4, 6 &7). Oasis play seven further dates including performances at Sunderland Stadium of Light (June 10), Cardiff Millennium Stadium (June 12), Murrayfield Stadium in Glasgow (June 17) and Coventrys Ricoh Arena (July 7). The Oasis tour comes to a close in London with four shows at Wembley Stadium (July 9, 11 & 12). Loads of Oasis tickets are still available from £40.


Meanwhile Russell Brand will continue to bring his live stand upshow to UK audiences this April. The Russell Brand tour will call at Clyde Auditorium Glasgow (April 9 and April 10), continuing on toCarling Apollo Hammersmith London (April 11) andCardiff International Arena (April 14)before finally hosting an epic stand up show at London's O2 Arena on FridayApril 17. Russell Brands tickets are still available from £26.50
