Ronan Keating tops UK chart

This week, the race for the UK albums chart crown has been won by Ronan Keating. The Boyzone star's new album, Songs for My Mother, outsold the competition to claim the top spot. The album was released last Monday in time for fans to seek out the perfect Mother's Day gift.
Second place went to Annie Lennox who hung on for a second week with her latest release. Kings of Leon, who have now spent more than six months in the UK albums chart, claimed third place while Faryl and Take That made up the top five.
Last week's chart toppers, U2, fell five places to number six. The recently released U2 album, No Line on the Horizon, spent two weeks at the top of the chart before being replaced by fellow Irish man, Ronan Keating.
Acts including Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Bette Midler and Lionel Richie make up this week's top ten.
A number of this week's chart challengers are also on tour this year. .
Kings of Leon play a series of massive shows at the London O2 Arena and the Manchester Evening News Arena in June. Kings of Leon tickets are available from £90.
The 2009 Take That tour kicks off at the Sunderland Stadium of Light on June 5 before visiting Coventry Ricoh Arena, Cardiff Millennium Stadium, Glasgow Hampden Park and Lancashire County Cricket Ground. The Take That tour comes to a close with four nights at London Wembley Stadium. Take That tickets are available to compare with prices starting at £65.
The massive U2 360 tour kicks off in August calling at London Wembley Stadium (August 14), Glasgow Hampden Park (August 18), Don Valley Stadium (August 20) and Cardiff Millennium Stadium (August 22). U2 tickets are are available to compare with prices from £80.
This week's number ten, Lionel Richie, is currently tour and tickets are selling fast. Lionel Richie is set to play a number of dates in the UK over the next fortnight and Lionel Richie tickets are still available from £110.
