Roma look to return to form against bitter rivals Lazio

The Derby della Capitale on the 13th of March will be of vital importance to Roma after their dip in form and change of management.

After Claudio Ranieri resigned following a 4-3 defeat to Genoa last Sunday, the Giallorossi appointed former striker Vincenzo Montella as coach in a bid to change their fortunes.

Roma have faired well in this season's Coppa Italia and in the Champions League, but their poor league form has seen them slump to eighth, nine points behind Rome rivals Lazio.

Lazio lack the star names of Roma, who boast the likes of Francesco Totti and Philippe Mexs, but have performed well as a squad and are on the verge of a Champions League place. The real prize for the fans, however, may be the ability to further humiliate Roma with a win at the Stadio Olimpico.
