'Maggie may' singer Rod Stewart, 66 has told Model Railroader Magazine that he likes to build scale models of railways before concerts. Instead of the usual suspects often found on artists riders such as bottles of alcohol, pink roses and blue m&ms the Scottish singer confessed that he preferred a large table to construct recreations of railways to calm him before going on stage. Stewart has also been nominated for a grammy award for his fifth American Song book album (Fly me to the moon...), the 53rd grammy awards, held in Los Angeles on the 13th of February has Stewart competing in the best traditional pop vocal album against Barbra Streisand and Michael Buble.
Rod Stewart tickets are available for a one off show in Norwich, Carrow road for the 8th of June
