Reading Festival organisers have announced new rules in order to prevent a repeat of last year's outbreak of fires on the final evening of the event.
No alcohol or firewood will be allowed on-site past 6pm on Sunday August 29th, and all campfires will have to be extinguished by 8pm. Organisers Festival Republic and the local Reading council have also agreed to increase night-time security throughout the whole event.
This year's Reading Festival will be headlined by Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink-182 and will take place from 27th-29th August. The festival will also host the reunion of The Libertines.
Reading Festival tickets are still widely available from ticketing websites such as Viagogo, Seatwave and GetMeIn. Weekend tickets are currently trading from £225 and day ticket prices start at £75.
